  1. My favorite scary movie, (that I didn’t see on your list) is a film from around 1980,starring George C. Scott called,”The Changeling”.Great haunted house story about a music teacher who loses his family in an accident, so he goes to a University to teach, and they let him stay in an old Mansion. Turns out the place is haunted by the spiirit of a little boy. Lots of scares w/out any blood or gore, and the performances are great! If you can find it check it out (it’s been out of print for years) my fav scene is the seance! Anyway, thanks for the list, I will definetly check some of these titles out!

    1. Thank you so much for reading and commenting! We wish “The Changeling” was on Netflix too! We haven’t seen it yet but know its a classic that we have to catch asap. I’ve heard it’s Neve Campbell’s (Sidney Prescott in the Scream franchise) favorite horror film. Have a Happy Halloween!
