This year, Knott’s Scary Farm in Southern California celebrates 45 years as the world’s largest, most frightening Halloween theme park.
To honor the milestone and celebrate decades of successful scares, the team behind the annual event will appear for a 90-minute presentation at this year’s Midsummer Scream Halloween convention in Long Beach.
45 Years of Knott’s Scary Farm brings together the creators, designers, and entertainers that make nightmares a reality. Hosted by author and historian Ted Dougherty, the presentation will detail the history of the haunt with humble beginnings that grew to become one of the most influential Halloween events in the country.
The presentation will close out this year’s Midsummer Scream on Sunday, July 30th at 4:30pm. Afterward, guests and fans are welcome to attend a reception in the lobby where they’ll have the opportunity to meet the panel of haunt visionaries for themselves.
