Halloween candy is already hitting store shelves for 2017! We love spotting seasonal sweets that bring sugar-lovers something special for the hallowed holiday.
Every year, we see the traditional selection of fun-sized candy bars and trick-or-treat-sized packs of goodies for October 31st, but it’s always fun to see candy companies step up their creativity and offer something unique with a spooky twist.
Thanks to Instagrammer @candyhunting, we got a sneak peek of 2017’s Skittles for Halloween season.
Like last year, the company will release their “Cauldron Skittles“, a mix of Halloween-themed flavors (“Lurking Lemon”, “Bogey Berry”, “Twisted Tangerine”, “Gripping Grape”, and “Petrified Pear”) in orange packaging.
New this year is “Trick Plays” Skittles, a collection of the signature chewy candies in colors that don’t match up with their flavor. The Skittles are football-themed with flavors like “For-the-Win Watermelon” and “Comeback Cherry” and green packaging branded by the NFL.
Although not Halloween-themed, the mix should still provide candy connoisseurs and trick-or-treaters with a fun flavor experience for the Halloween season.
