Never fear- today’s pick, “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” by Blue Öyster Cult, is a classic!
“(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” was released on Blue Öyster Cult’s 1976 album Agents of Fortune and was featured in John Carpenter’s Halloween.
In addition, the song inspired Stephen King’s The Stand and was featured as the theme for the TV miniseries adaptation.
A cover of the song performed by Gus was featured on the soundtrack to 1996’s Scream.
