Last week, Tyler Perry Studios announced that production began in Atlanta for “Boo! A Madea Halloween”. The film will be written, produced, directed by, and starring Perry as the beloved comedic protagonist. The release date is scheduled just in time for Halloween: October 21, 2016.
According to Variety, in Lionsgate’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween”:
“Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls, and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.” (Variety)
