Celebrating the notorious killer doll for Chucky Day!
Lately, it seems every day is National (Something) Day. National Cookie Day. Beer Day. There’s Taco Tuesday and even a No Bra Day.
As celebrators of all things fun, it’s good to know there’s something new to honor each day.
October has several days designated to show appreciation for the tropes of the season.
Tomorrow, October 26th, is National Pumpkin Day. National Black Cat Day and Frankenstein Friday fall on October 27th. October 30th is National Candy Corn Day.
Little did we know that today, October 25th, is Chucky The Notorious Killer Doll Day!
Someone has chosen this day in history to celebrate Charles Lee Ray, the world’s most adorable, homicidal doll from the Child’s Play franchise. Bravo!
We must be in tune with the cosmos because we had already picked out our Chucky shirt to wear today before hearing this monumental news.
According to National Day Calendar, Chucky fans can observe this special holiday and “Watch the various Chucky movies and use #ChuckyTheNotoriousKillerDollDay to post on social media.”
We hope to end the day revisiting our favorite films from the Child’s Play franchise and paying homage to good ol’ Chuck.
After all, we’re friends till the end!

Funny, we just watched Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky last night. Curse is great fun, Cult I am still unsure of.
Have been patiently waiting to watch Cult since it came out. I hear the version on Netflix isn’t the unrated version and cuts out a post-credits scene that’s supposedly awesome. Can’t wait to see it soon!
